JOSH WARETINI HAS ALWAYS HAD A PASSION FOR ART, WATCHING HIS MOTHER'S CREATIVITY AND ABSORBING THE ENVIROMENT HE WAS GIVEN FROM A VERY EARLY AGE JOSH BEGAN TO DRAW NATURALLY HIS FAVOURITE CARTOONS WHICH HE ALWAYS WOULD BE DOING I HIS SPARE TIME, TROUGH JOSH'S TEENAGE YEARS HE STILL DREW FROM TIME TO TIME BUT LET IT GO FOR A FEW YEARS, AT THE AGE OF 19 JOSH QUIT HIS JOB AND MADE IT HIS GOAL TO FIND A TATTOO APPRENTICESHIP.


HE WORKED UNDER PETER NORRIS AT HAPPY DAYZE TATTOO IN LILLYDALE,MELB FOR 2.5 YEARS LEARNING THE FUNDIMENTALS OF TATTOOING AND GAINING ALOT OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE MEDIUM, EVENTUALLY MOVING ON TO WORKING UNDER NICK DUTT AT TATTOOS R US IN KILSYTH,MELB FOR 2 YEARS, WHILST WORING HERE JOSH BEGAN TO FIND HIS STYLE, CREATIVITY AND PASSION FOR THE ARTFORM.


HE WOULD OFTEN TRAVEL BETWEEN AUS AND NZ AS HE HAD BUILT A CLIENTELE IN BOTH COUNTRIES GUST SPOTTING IN VARIUS STUDIOS, JOSH EVENTUALLY MOVED BACK TO HIS HOME TOWN OF CHRISTCHURCH IN LATE 2015 AS A STUDIO BARBERS INK WAS OPENNG AND JOSH WAS ASKED TO HELP SET THE STUDIO UP AND WORK THERE FOR THE START UP.
JOSH MOVED ON TO RUNNING THE TATTOO SIDE OF BARBERS INK AND FORMED HIS CREW OF CREATIVES.
MAY 2017 JOSH DECIDED TO OPEN LANEWAYS TATTOO STUDIO.
